The following are some of the questions we receive from our customers

Q: Do you offer finishing?

A: Woodmill of Muskoka Inc. are very pleased to be able to offer all of our customers the choice of taking their chosen piece of furniture unfinished or having us finish their furniture for them. We also offer custom finishing. Please bring us a sample of your existing furniture and we will be pleased to custom match your new piece. Q: Do you deliver?

A: Our courteous professional movers would be pleased to deliver your furniture to your home or office. Please call for details.

Q: Can you work with my designer?

A: It would be our pleasure to help you and your designer choose the furniture that will make your house a "home".

Q: Are you able to make custom pieces?

A: We have a custom shop that handles specific custom orders. We can build custom pieces based on your pictures or drawings. Please call and book an appointment with our custom specialists. Our number is (705) 687-5959.

Q: What are the directions to get to each store?

A: Woodmill of Muskoka Inc. can easily be reached by taking the 400 north to Hwy #11 North to Gravenhurst. 6km past Muskoka Tourism Information Center on the eastside of Hwy #11. Simply look for our resident life size T-Rex dinosaur. Lots of free parking in our parking lot.

Q: How much of the Recycle Plastic or Polywood plastic lumber is recycled?

A: Over ninety percent of our plastic lumber is made from post-consumer bottle waste, such as milk and detergent bottles or other HDPE post industrial material.

Q: What is HDPE?

A: HDPE stands for High Density Polyethylene which is an exceptionally durable plastic that has infinite recyclability.

Q: Is the Recycle Plastic or Polywood color only on the surface?

A: No, the color in Recycle Plastic or Polywood lumber runs all the way through.

Q: How much do Recycle Plastic or Polywood Chairs weigh?

A: The weight of a Recycle Plastic or Polywood chair is similar to that of a hardwood chair averaging 30 to 50 Lbs. each. This means that even in strong winds you won't have to worry about these bad boys blowing away.

Q: Does it contain wood or natural fibers?

A: Recycle Plastic or Polywood is made from HDPE and does not contain wood or any natural fibers.

Q: Is it UV protected?

A: Recycle Plastic or Polywood lumber contains UV-inhibited pigment systems that reduces fading.

Q: Can it be painted?

A: Recycle Plastic or Polywood does not need to be painted, stained or sealed in any way due to the durable nature of the material.

Q: Can it be sanded?

A: Although minor scratches can be addressed with a light sanding, Recycle Plastic or Polywood cannot be completely resurfaced using sandpaper.

Q: How do I clean Recycle Plastic or Polywood?

A: For regular maintenance simply wash the product with soap and water. For advanced cleaning or to remove fungi, use a solution of 1/3 bleach and 2/3 water. Fungi can also be removed using any readily available anti fungal product.

Q: Can Recycle Plastic or Polywood be power washed?

A: A high pressure power washer may be used for regular maintenance to keep your furniture looking like new. Pressure should not exceed 1,500 psi, which is the equivalent of a car wash. The surface characteristics of the product may require the use of a soft bristle brush to get into the creases.

Q: What is the hardware made from?

A: For optimal performance and longevity Recycle Plastic or Polywood uses genuine stainless steel hardware.

Q: Does Recycle Plastic or Polywood furniture have a warranty?

A: Recycle Plastic or Polywood warranties to the original purchaser for a period of five (5) years of residential use and one (1) year for commercial use starting from the date of purchase.

Q: Is assembly required?

A: Recycle Plastic or Polywood furniture is designed to require minimal assembly. Some models even unfold right out of the box with no assembly necessary. Those that require assembly often take less than 30 minutes to complete and include basic tools with simple instructions.

Q: What are the Recycle Plastic or Polywood Cushions made out of?

A: For the best year around performance in outdoor settings Recycle Plastic or Polywood Cushions are made from Sunbrella® Fabrics.

Q: What is Plastíque™?

A: Plastíque™ offers the richness and warmth of natural wood while delivering all-weather performance. Plastíque™ can be cleaned by gently washing it with soap and water.
